War of Words

Crash, bam, boom
Thunder and lightning
Race through the heavens
Striking all that oppose
Crushing the opposition
Nothing can stop the juggernaut
The war machine
From reeking havoc
Scalding insults
From one child to another
Can leave scars
Forever

  1. I like this one, and had meant to comment sooner. Nice work, using a war-juggernaut's inevitable destruction as a metaphor for the ways children and peers sometimes treat each other, seemingly bred by American culture...amongst others. It also, I think, recalls the fact that sticks and stones (war-juggernaut) can hurt just as much as words (insults) proving the old adage incorrect. Nicely done.
